More Pictures on the way!!

I have been posting pictures from the Grand Canyon trip. It takes a little time uploading them, I'm in Canada now so the connection in the hotel is kind of slow. As soon as I get home I'll load more. Enjoy the ones I posted already.

And the work out begins.

Well, I started the work out this week. I still have some things to work out on the running part. Today we did the tread mill. 1.8 miles, I know!!!! well, lets be honest, it wasn't all running. The work out itself is easy to follow. I'll place a link to the place I found It. I should have the workout sheet posted soon, still trying some things out with that. I did get the countdown timer reset for the next big trick.

What's next?

Well for all you who have been following, WARRIOR DASH!!!!! I reset the counter. And it's time my fat butt gets a move on with the training. 5k run with a mean obstacle course. THIS CAN'T BE GOOD!! So let's get started. OK, maybe after this root beer float!

He is alive!!!!!

Yes, it is true. I made it out of the Canyon, ALIVE!!!! what can i say. It was the best hike in the world, 10 miles of great views. I took almost 300 pictures, which i have been slowly loading for your viewing pleasure. I can only upload 5 at a time so give me some time.
So how did it go you ask? Well, where to start. The greatest hike in the world! The worst camping trip known to man! oh yea, big time adventures! the first night was a wind storm. This storm lasted late into the night, about 1am or so. Because when you live in a tent and get 65mph gusts of wind, you tend to remember things like that. The next day was just as fun, winds from one direction and then a 35 degree wind from the other direction. very cold!! let's not forgot my favorite, HAIL!!!! in the bottom of the grand canyon? yes in the bottom of the Grand Canyon. And let's not leave the rain out of this, he came to play also. What did we learn? Nothing really. Mother nature calls the shots. No changing her mind. The hike out was nice, not to hot, not to cold. Just right! 10 mile hike out, ALL UP HILL. this gives me legs of steel!! good thing Because we have more plans.
