Bright Idea #2

I have a friend name Dave. We have been friends for a very long time. Keep in mind that our personalities are very different. He is a plan and master kind of guy, I, on the other hand am a just jump in and destroy kind of guy. One thing we have in common is we like to do silly fun things. So, the other night we were in the same city for our respected work type stuff and met for dinner. "Famous Dave's" a nice B.B.Q. place. We talked about old times, old friends and old jokes. Some where he said "go on-line and check out Warrior Dash" I did.
The rest of the night was one of Bob's friendly arguments, something like "what are stupid or something". Let me explain. The warrior dash is a 3 mile run and at the end of it is this rough looking obstacle coarse. Mud, hills, barbed wire. I said Barbed wire!! The rest of the night I would call him on his cell and DAVE!! I can't do this! I don't run, I don't have barbed wire, I blah, blah and so on. And then, he said it. They have one in the Sacramento area. They Do? And then I said hey! You get a cool Viking hat and medal at the end and big party!.....wait for it...."LET'S DO IT" yep that's what came out of my mind. What was I thinking? OH that's right I wasn't!!
The date for the Sacramento warrior Dash is Oct. 30. I have plenty of time to train. So here comes the Blog. I should have a count down time for you soon for that and all work outs that I am use plus how I'm doing on them. The only thing I do not have is a costume! That’s right a costume. They say all costumes are welcome and encouraged. Well, let's get our thinking caps on for that one..I put a link on the blog for you, you soon see that it's not as killer as we first thought. It's going to be tough so a lot of training will be needed.

  1. Haha...costume. You should totally let mom design and sew it. But what did we learn from The Incredibles? NO CAPES!! This is what Drew was talking to me about last night, he thought it would be pretty cool to go with you. I don't know if he meant take part or watch...but he wants to go. I will make you a big ole sign!
